Powell Street Festival and Van Vogue Jam partner together for an intersection of Ballroom culture through the lens of the Japanese Diaspora. Prince Two Moods Flora (Portland, Oregon) will present a Ballroom History presentation followed by a dialogue with Reiko “Kiiro” Lotus (Vancouver, B.C.). Drinks and snacks will be provided, and the event is open to all.
パウエル祭とヴァン・ヴォーグ・ジャムが協力し、日本のディアスポラの視点からボールルームカルチャーを交差させるイベントが開催されます。プリンス・ツームード・フローラ（オレゴン州ポートランド）がボールルームの歴史についてプレゼンテーションを行い、続いてレイコ“キイロ”ロータス（ブリティッシュコロンビア州バンクーバー）との対談が行われます。飲み物と軽食が提供されます。どなたでも参加できるイベントです。 

LaTroy Robinson has been involved in Ballroom since 2019. Originally just a part of the PNW Kiki ballroom scene as a member of the Kiki House of Flora, LaTroy was deemed Prince of House of Flora at the end of 2021. In April of 2022, LaTroy took a plunge into Mainstream Ballroom via being recruited into the Iconic House of Ninja. He was appointed as the current interim Fathe of Colorado Chapter of the House of Ninja in the summer of 2022. Ballroom is an integral part of his existence and has been the greatest avenue of self-exploration/expression. LaTroy focuses on three categories: Face, Vogue Performance, and Hand performance.

Reiko Inouye (aka Kiiro Lotus) is a queer, yonsei, mixed-race Japanese emerging artist, curator, organizer, dancer, and settler guest on the unceded lands of the xwmə0–kwəy’əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. She is a recent member of the Kiki House of Lotus (est. 2023) in the Vancouver kiki ballroom scene, walking in FF Face and All-American Runway, and has been taking classes through VVJ since 2021. Their solo and social artistic practice often concerns itself with theories of queer world-building, space-making, performativity, and adornment.
レイコ・イノウエ（通称：キイロ・ロータス）は、クィアであり、４世であり、ミックスの日系新進アーティスト、キュレーター、オーガナイザー、ダンサーとして活動しています。また、xwmə0–kwəy’əm（マスクイアム）族、Sḵwx̱wú7mesh（スコーミッシュ）族、Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh（ツレイル・ウォウトゥス）族の領土である未譲渡地域における入植者です。彼女はバンクーバーのキキ・ボールルーム・シーンにおいて設立されたキキハウス・オブ・ロータス（2023年設立）の最近のメンバーであり、FFフェイスとオール・アメリカン・ランウェイの部門で参加しており、2021年よりVVJ（ヴァン・ヴォーグ・ジャム）を通じてクラスを受けています。レイコは単独で、またソーシャルな芸術的活動において、クィアの世界構築、空間創造、パフォーマティビティ、装飾の理論に関心を持って取り組んでいます。
