GivingTuesday is a new Canadian day of giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The “opening day of the giving season,” GivingTuesday is a day where charities, companies and individuals join together to rally for their favourite causes. “We have two days that are good for the economy. Now we have a day that is good for the community too.”

This year, Powell Street Festival Society is a proud partner of GivingTuesday Canada! Support us and help us reach $10,000 goal!

Donate by Interac on Dec 2 & double your donation

On GivingTuesday, December 2nd, 2014, Acxsys Corporation (the architects of the Interac network) will match online charitable donations made through CanadaHelps.org and paid using Interac Online. The Interac will match up to $25 per donation made using Interac Online, up to a maximum total of $10,000 in matching dollars.
