Our Care Package Projects since 2020
The Winter Care Package project is an initiative of PSFS’ year-round DTES Community Care Programs – our grassroots efforts to enhance the community’s wellbeing by supporting those facing complex barriers including poverty, racism, mental illness, housing precarity, and addiction. It is our fourth Care Package project since 2020.
If you wish to support the Winter Care Packages and DTES Community Care Programs, please make a contribution through our online donation form here. FAQ
Any amount is greatly appreciated. Donations of $50 or more will support one or more Winter Care Packages.
They will be filled with personal hygiene products, handwarmers, snacks, hot beverage mixes, socks, gloves, and other winter essentials. Downtown Eastside community members participated in selecting the contents.
They will be assembled and distributed to Downtown Eastside groups and residents in the new year.
Yes! We encourage online contributions through the secure donation form, but cash and cheque donations are just as appreciated. Please drop off or send to: #410-111 W. Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC, V6B 1H4. If you wish to receive an appreciation gift, please also indicate the mailing address to which it should be sent.
