The Powell Street Festival is a unique festival in that it celebrates so many aspects of the community in an inclusive, accessible and respectful environment. We rely on hundreds of volunteers to make this festival the wonderful event that it is! Volunteering is a great opportunity to meet new friends, spend time with friends and family, and get behind the scenes of this vibrant and special event.

The Festival is July 30th and 31st. If you have not yet been scheduled, show up when you are available at Oppenheimer Park during the festival weekend! The Festival runs from 11:30 am to 7 pm each day. Go to the Volunteer Booth located next to the Fieldhouse on the east side of the park. You can also contact our Volunteer Coordinator, David Wang at volunteer [@] powellstreetfestival.com.

Download our Volunteer Info 2016 for more detailed information on Volunteering at the 2016 Powell Street Festival.

Download our Volunteer Handbook for more detailed information on Volunteering at the PSFS.

You must be 16 years of age or older to volunteer.

If you are unable to Volunteer during the weekend but still want to help out, there are many year round opportunities. Immediately after festival we will need help organising the office and entering data. Please email admin [@] powellstreetfestival.com if you are interested.
