World Soran! is a youth dance team composed of Japanese youth, Canadian youth, Japanese-Canadian youth, and international youth who together perform festival dances throughout Metro Vancouver. World Soran! performs two traditional Japanese dances originating in the fishing culture; Soran Bushi from Hokkaido and Ushibuka Haiya Bushi from Kumamoto. Enjoy the energy and passion brought from Japanese festivals, and unique costumes of yukata and happi.
