The Otowa Ryu Japanese Dance Group has been actively participating in many festivals and 

cultural events in the Lower Mainland over 50 years. The members are of all different age groups 

of Japanese descendants. The repertoire consists of traditional (Buyo), contemporary (Shin Buyo) 

and folk dances (Minyo). Otowa Ryu Japanese Dance Group will present some Shin Buyo (traditional Japanese Dance with modernized music), folk dances and children’s dances.
