We begin the festivities with a First Nations’ blessing with Chief Bill Williams and Mary Point, followed by greetings from PSFS President Edward Takayanagi as well as government officials, such as Vancouver East MP Jenny Kwan and Vancouver’s Consulate General of Japan, Kohei Maruyama.  

パウエル祭は、チーフ・ビル・ウィリアムズとメアリー・ポイントによるファースト・ネーションズの祝辞で始まり、パウエル祭協会エドワード・タカヤナギ会長、続いてイースト・バンクーバーのジェニー・クワン議員、丸山浩平・在バンクーバー日本国総領事ら政府関係者の挨拶をもって開会します。
