This book was realized from the authors bi-monthly posts in the Japanese Canandian Facebook Group throughout 2022. Miyagawa’s goal is to inspire sansei, yonsei, and gosei generations by sharing her experience in BC internment camps between 1942-49.  

About the Author: Harriet Haruye Miyagawa is a nisei survivor of internment of Japanese Canadians 1942-1952.  Born in Port Hammond BC in 1938, after internment she lived in both Vancouver and Calgary.
