With a hope to train the next generation of Taiko players in Vancouver, Chibi Taiko was the first Canadian Youth Taiko Drumming ensemble, founded in 1993. They have since played an active role in performance to promote this unique performing art form by participating in various cultural events such as the Powell Street Festival throughout BC, Canada as well as other events in the United States. 

ちび太鼓は、バンクーバーで次世代の太鼓奏者を育成することを目指して1993年に設立された、カナダ初の青少年太鼓アンサンブルです。パウエル祭をはじめとして、ブリティッシュコロンビア州、カナダ、そしてアメリカ各地で開催される様々な文化イベントに参加し、このユニークな舞台芸術の普及に積極的に取り組んでいます。
