Suzan Lee is has been teaching bookbinding for over 10 years. She received her training from Centre for Book Arts in New York. She is a co-founder of the BC Lower Mainland chapter of CBBAG and serves with other CBBAG members to grow the local book arts community through outreach events such as Word Vancouver, Wayzgoose and Book Arts Fair.
Students will complete two books using the traditional Japanese stab binding technique. All students will learn the classic four hole stitch pattern. For the second book, students can choose one of three patterns: tortoise shell, hemp leaf or noble.
