Vancouver Japanese Language School and Japanese Hall　バンクーバー日本語学校および日系人会館

Located in Historic Powell Street (Paueru Gai) in the heart of the Downtown Eastside, the Japanese Hall is a National Historic Site is one of the only properties still standing that was returned to Japanese Canadians after the WWII Internment and Dispossession. Today, they continue to educate Japanese language and culture, run a childcare centre, and have transitioned into developing Japanese Canadian heritage and community programming and events. 

ダウンタウンイーストサイドの中心、歴史的パウエルストリート（パウエル街）に位置する日本人会館は第二次世界大戦中の収容と追い立て後、日系カナダ人に返還された財産の一つです。現在は、日本語を教えたりチャイルドケアセンターを運営したり、日経カナダ人の遺産とコミュニティプログラムやイベントの開発にも移行しています。
