All Day Screening

A moving and intimate film, which draws on the stories of hardships, sacrifices, friendships and life changes recounted by some of the participants of the 2025 Japanese Canadian Sugar Beet Wellness bus tour of the sugar beet fields of Southern Alberta.  A new and very personal perspective from tour participants, aged 14 to 87, on how the forced uprooting and dispersal to the sugar beet fields starting in 1942 transformed their lives and their community.
