Za Daikon

Established in 1994, Za Daikon, an amateur Japanese theatrical group, has been producing and performing plays and stage readings in Japanese annually at the Powell Street Festival, other community events, Japanese language schools, and at senior care facilities. むかしむかしあるところに、それはそれは貧しいお百姓が住んでおった。どんなに働いても暮らしは少しも楽にならん。そのうちに、とうとう働く気もなくなってしもうた。心配した村の者たちは見かねて嫁を世話したのだった…。
