Nihongo Kо̄minkan is a little place to take a rest and talk in Japanese. Please do not expect anything special or important discussion there. Tea will be served for free. It is a space you can drop by just briefly, and it is open for a short period of time during the Powell Street Festival. Tadafumi Tamura, an Issei from Yokohama, Kanagawa, will welcome visitors. I hope you will enjoy your time at Kо̄minkan in your own way, even for a moment. 

にほんご公民館は、日本語でお話をしながらゆっくりできるスポットです。何か特別なものがあるわけでも、大切なお話があるわけでもありません。無料のお茶が提供されます。パウエル祭の期間のほんのひと時、ふらりと立ち寄れる空間です。神奈川県横浜市出身の日系移民一世、田村禎史 (たむらただふみ）が立ち寄ってくださる皆様をお迎えします。限られた時間ではありますがそれぞれに楽しいひと時をお過ごしください。
