Explore the fundamentals of machine learning in this workshop that combines communicating with each other and with machines. Friends and family will work together to create an interactive art installation with communicative gestures, poses, and movements inspired by Yota Kobayashi’s Kūsou 空相 at Anvil Theatre. Begin by teaching a computer to respond to your movements and end with a visual digital artwork generated by a computer. We will use creative technology like iPads and Microbits to activate a fun and engaging art activity.

Hope Akello is a designer and educator teaching computational design thinking. Hope is passionate about design and its ability to find and communicate meaning to the world. Utilizing design as a vehicle for social justice and anti-oppression, Hope strives to design meaningful experiences and telling stories from perspectives not often realized through design.

相互および機械とのコミュニケーションを組み合わせたホープ・アケロが率いるこのワークショップでは、機械学習の基礎を探求していきます。友人や家族が協力して、アンビルシアターでヨータ・コバヤシのKūsou – 空相に触発されたコミュニケーションのジェスチャー、ポーズ、動きを備えた没入型アートインスタレーションを作成します。あなたの動きに反応するようにコンピューターを教えることから始めて、コンピューターによって生成された視覚的なデジタルアートワークで終わります。このワークショップでは、iPadやMicrobitsなどのクリエイティブなテクノロジーを使用して、楽しく魅力的なアートアクティビティを作動します。保護者同伴の場合のみ参加可能です。 

ホープ・アケロは、計算デザイン思考を教えるデザイナー兼教育者です。ホープは、デザインと、意味を見つけて世界に伝えるその能力に情熱を注いでいます。また、社会正義と反抑圧の手段としてデザインを利用し、意味のある体験をデザインし、デザインではあまり実現されない視点から物語を語ることに努めています。
